Macarin Anjing
The story centers on Kania, a smart, independent, and fashionable modern woman living and working in the fast-paced city of Jakarta. Kania has her career completely on track, but her love life is an absolute disaster zone. She seems to have an accidental, uncanny superpower: magnetizing men who turn out to be completely unfaithful, emotionally unavailable, or downright selfish.
After surviving a string of painful heartbreaks caused by these "dog-like" boyfriends, Kania becomes fiercely cynical about modern romance. Her exhaustion is perfectly encapsulated by the famous quote featured on the book’s cover: "The more I meet guys, the more I love dogs." She decides she is officially done with the chaotic circus of metropolitan dating.
Her vow to stay single is put to the ultimate test when she crosses paths with a charming, handsome, and seemingly perfect man. Despite her heavy emotional walls and fierce skepticism, he systematically begins to dismantle her defenses.
The narrative follows Kania as she hilariously and cautiously navigates this potential new romance. She constantly overanalyzes his actions, looking for the hidden "dog" traits she assumes every man possesses. Through sharp banter, comedic dating mishaps, and moments of raw vulnerability, Kania is forced to confront her own past relationship trauma. She must learn to differentiate between genuine red flags and her own internal insecurities to find out if true, faithful love actually exists in the modern city.
