Jangan Sebut Mereka Hantu
In 1971, Kathleen McConnell and her family moved into a beautiful, historic Victorian estate in Louisville, Kentucky, known as the Fontaine Manse. Only two days after settling in, Kathleen and her husband experienced unexplainable phenomena that left them with absolutely no doubt that they were sharing their new home with unseen residents. Doors slammed on their own, and the distinct sound of a basketball bouncing against the walls echoed from the upper floors.
When Kathleen bravely went to investigate the attic, she made a heartbreaking discovery: the spirits wandering the mansion were not malevolent entities, but the lost souls of three children—a toddler named Baby, a young teenage boy named Buddy, and an eleven-year-old girl she affectionately named Angel Girl. Rather than exuding terror, the children's eyes revealed a deep, lingering sorrow.
Instead of running away or calling for an exorcism, Kathleen’s maternal instincts took over. Over the five years the family lived in Fontaine Manse, the spirit children became an extension of the McConnell family. They played catch with Kathleen, interacted gently with her own children, and on one incredible occasion, even intervened to save her living son, Duncan, from a dangerous drowning accident. As the time inevitably approached for the McConnells to move out of the historic mansion, Kathleen faced a gut-wrenching emotional dilemma: how could she leave behind the spirit children she had grown to love as her own, and how could she help them finally find peace and cross over?
