Plastic Fantastic
The story follows Dom, a teenage boy who lands a dream job that quickly turns into a surreal nightmare: working at Plastic Fantastic, a hyper-commercial, ruthless entertainment and marketing corporation.
The company's absolute pride and joy is Frenzee, the biggest, most obsessively worshipped pop boyband on the planet. Frenzee is a meticulously manufactured product—engineered by music executives to look flawless, sound perfectly autotuned, and milk millions of pounds from screaming teenage fans through endless merchandising.
As Dom gets a peek behind the velvet curtain, he discovers a hilarious and horrifying truth: the band members are completely talentless, incredibly shallow, and utterly incapable of functioning like normal human beings without a script.
The plot kicks into overdrive when a catastrophic PR disaster strikes right before a massive, highly publicized live event. The corporate bosses panic, and Dom is suddenly thrust into the center of a massive cover-up operation. He is tasked with pulling off an impossible corporate stunt to keep the band's brainwashed fans from realizing that their idols are a total sham.
As the lies spiral out of control, Dom is forced to navigate crazed fans, ruthless media executives, and absurd marketing schemes, leading to a chaotic, high-stakes climax where the entire illusion threatens to shatter publicly.
