Sirkus Misterius - Lima Sekawan (Pet. 21)

---

The adventure begins when a chickenpox outbreak at Kirren Cottage forces the Famous Five—Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timothy the dog—to stay with their eccentric scientist friend, Tinker, and his playful monkey, Mischief, at Big Hollow.

To make things even more exciting, a traveling circus has set up camp in a nearby field. The children quickly make friends with the colorful circus performers, including Charlie the acrobat boy and his smart chimpanzee, Skippy.

The real mystery sparks when top-secret scientific papers belonging to Tinker’s father, Professor Hayling, are stolen from a tower room that was locked from the inside. The only clue is a strange smell of peppermint left behind at the crime scene. Because of their proximity and unconventional lifestyles, the circus folk are immediately suspected by the police.
