Jo Anak Gelandangan - Lima Sekawan (Pet. 9)

---

The Famous Five—Julian, Dick, Anne, George, and Timothy the dog—are looking forward to a peaceful summer holiday at George’s home, Kirrin Cottage. However, things take a dramatic turn when Uncle Quentin’s top-secret scientific papers become the target of a ruthless gang of thieves.

One evening on the beach, the children cross paths with Jo, a ragged, fiery, and fiercely independent tomboy who lives a wandering life. George instantly dislikes her (mostly because Jo looks and acts a bit like her, and Timmy takes a liking to Jo!).

The plot thickens when Kirrin Cottage is broken into, Uncle Quentin's valuable notes are stolen, and George and Timmy suddenly vanish without a trace. It becomes clear that George has been kidnapped by the criminals to force Uncle Quentin into giving up the rest of his scientific secrets.
