CERITA HOROR KOTA yang kasat mata bukan tak ada
In the sprawling, neon-drenched metropolis of the capital, the inhabitants believe they are alone in their crowded apartments, offices, and subways. They are wrong.
"City of the Unseen" follows Rian, a cynical freelance journalist who suffers from a rare condition that allows him to perceive the "overflow"—the spectral remnants of the city’s history that coexist in the same physical space as the living. He discovers that beneath the surface of modern infrastructure and corporate glass towers lies a parallel layer of existence: a city of ghosts, echoes, and forgotten tragedies that are invisible to the average citizen.
As Rian investigates a series of unexplained disappearances in the city’s oldest district, he realizes that these people haven't just gone missing; they have been "absorbed" by the city itself. The metropolis is not merely a place of stone and steel, but a sentient organism that feeds on the unresolved trauma and secrets of its inhabitants.
When Rian begins to see the architecture shifting—buildings appearing where there were none, and alleyways leading to impossible places—he realizes the boundary between the living city and the unseen realm is dissolving. He must race to expose the truth before the city claims him as its next permanent resident, proving that just because something cannot be seen, it does not mean it is not there, watching and waiting.
