The Pilgrim's Progress from This World to That Which Is to Come is a Christian allegorical novel by English preacher and author John Bunyan, published in 1678 (with the second part following in 1684). Written while Bunyan was imprisoned for preaching without a license, it is widely regarded as one of the most significant works of religious English literature, having been translated into over 200 languages and never once going out of print.
