Kun maryati dkk - Personal Name;

Sociology for Grade XI Senior High School/Islamic Senior High School (SMA/MA), Elective Subject Group – Merdeka Curriculum is a learning resource designed to deepen students’ understanding of social life through the study of sociological concepts, perspectives, and contemporary social phenomena. The book encourages students to examine the relationships between individuals, groups, institutions, and society while developing an awareness of the social dynamics that shape everyday life.

The materials cover key topics such as social structure, social differentiation and stratification, social groups, social mobility, social conflict and integration, social change, globalization, and contemporary social issues. The topics are presented through contextual explanations, case studies, discussions, inquiry-based activities, and exercises that enable students to connect sociological concepts with real-life situations.

In accordance with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, the book promotes meaningful and student-centered learning through exploration, collaboration, reflection, and independent learning. Students are encouraged to analyze social phenomena from multiple perspectives, interpret information, evaluate social conditions, formulate arguments, and develop appropriate responses to social challenges.

The book aims to strengthen students’ critical thinking, analytical reasoning, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and social awareness. By developing a sociological perspective, students are expected to appreciate social and cultural diversity, understand social change, and participate actively and responsibly in society.
