EHIPASSIKO Pendidikan Agama Buddha dan Budi Pekerti Kelas 11 Fase F Kurikulum Merdeka
EHIPASSIKO is a Buddhist Religious Education and Character Development textbook for Grade 11 students in Phase F, developed in accordance with Indonesia’s Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). Inspired by the Buddhist principle Ehipassiko, meaning “come and see,” the book encourages students to engage with the Dhamma through inquiry, critical reflection, personal experience, and consistent practice.
The book supports students in developing a deeper and more mature understanding of Buddhist teachings while strengthening their character and spiritual awareness. Through Buddhist texts, reflection, discussion, inquiry-based activities, and practical applications, students are encouraged to cultivate wisdom, mindfulness, compassion, ethical conduct, inner discipline, and responsibility.
At this stage of their education, students are encouraged to connect the Dhamma with more complex questions about identity, relationships, personal aspirations, morality, social responsibility, and the challenges of contemporary life. The book promotes thoughtful decision-making and encourages students to examine the consequences of their thoughts, words, and actions.
Ultimately, EHIPASSIKO invites students to make Buddhist teachings a meaningful part of their lives rather than merely an academic subject. It seeks to form young Buddhists who are wise, compassionate, mindful, and socially responsible, capable of applying the Dhamma in daily life and contributing positively to their families, communities, and society. :::
