EHIPASSIKO Pendidikan Agama Buddha dan Budi Pekerti Kelas 12 Fase F Kurikulum Merdeka
EHIPASSIKO is a Buddhist Religious Education and Character Development textbook for Grade 12 students in Phase F, developed in accordance with Indonesia’s Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). Inspired by the Buddhist principle Ehipassiko, meaning “come and see,” the book encourages students to deepen their understanding of the Dhamma through inquiry, reflection, personal experience, and practice.
As students approach the completion of secondary education, the book guides them toward a mature understanding of Buddhist teachings and their relevance to life beyond school. Through Buddhist texts, reflection, discussion, critical inquiry, and practical activities, students are encouraged to cultivate wisdom, mindfulness, compassion, ethical conduct, self-discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility.
The book connects Buddhist principles with important questions about identity, purpose, vocation, relationships, ethical decision-making, social responsibility, and the challenges of contemporary society. Students are encouraged to reflect carefully on their choices and develop the wisdom and inner discipline needed to face the future with confidence and compassion.
Ultimately, EHIPASSIKO seeks to prepare young Buddhists to enter the next stage of life with a strong spiritual foundation and a commitment to living according to the Dhamma. It invites students to transform knowledge into practice and to become wise, compassionate, mindful, and responsible individuals who contribute positively to their families, communities, and society.
